Kiyomizu Temple

One of the great sights of Kyoto’s Higashiyama ward, It is located on the mountain side of Mt. Otoyama, and Yongsheng. It is open to the public. It opened in 778 AD and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

It is said that its name comes from the fact that there are clear natural spring waters in the area.
From the main hall and the stage with a height of 13 m you can see the city of Kyoto, including the Kyoto Tower and the five-storied pagoda of Toji, and other Kyoto attractions. Thousands of maple and other leaves will turn oranges and reds in the autumn as part of Kyoto’s breathtaking autumn foliage, creating a majestic atmosphere.
